General information

The National Committee of Geologists of Uzbekistan (hereinafter – NCSU) is a non-governmental non-profit organization in the organizational and legal form of a voluntarily organized institution. It has been operating since 1995.
NCSU carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On non-governmental non-profit organizations”, “On guarantees of the activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations”, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Goals

The main goal of NCSU is to promote the sustainable development of the geological industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan by solving the following tasks:
Representation of the geological industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the international level, (including the International Association of Geological Sciences)
Development and strengthening of international cooperation through the exchange of experience, as well as joint solutions to fundamental and practical problems of geological sciences;
Development and popularization of the geological industry of Uzbekistan;
Coverage of achievements of geological science, technology and innovations in the world and in Uzbekistan;
Environmental conservation and promotion of sustainable use of natural resources;
Implementation of other types of activities not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to achieve the goals and objectives set for the NCSU.
