On April 5, 2024, an event dedicated to the Geologist’s Day was held at the University of Geological Sciences. It was attended by veterans, scientists, mentors, heads of enterprises and organizations subordinate to the ministry. The ceremonial meeting was opened by the Minister of Mining and Geology B. Islamov, who made a report on the main achievements, problems and prospects of the field of geology. Leading specialists, geologists and mentors who made a worthy contribution to the development of the industry were awarded “Certificates of Honor” from the Ministry.
